Australian duo Love Level have released their debut self-titled single to present their pair-down RnB glow-up to the world. ‘Love Level’ is a minimalist production of crisp trap beats and starry-eyed synths. The vocals are hazy, with the central lyric, “you got me on the love level”, sung barely above a dreamy mumble; the slurriness of which was inspired by a friend on a night out who had just enough to drink to be on that “love level.” We’re also feeling enamoured by the Gold Coast project’s woozy alt-RnB introduction, which we hope will be followed up by more soon. - Hannah Thacker
